Here's the first of a series of three small pieces. I felt it was time to try something else. There is a huge rosebush in our backyard, probably some kind of "rugosa hybrid" that can withstand Canadian winters. Hundred of roses (3 times during the summer!) exhale their delicate
fragrance just behind my studio and create a colorful blanket of petals on rainy days.
